The problem is, just finding the sites that review different insurance plans and companies can be a real challenge. But don’t despair, they are out there! But, before I talk about the different review sites, I will lend some advice on the different things to look out for when viewing pet insurance review sites. The following should be watched and taken with caution…

Well, this is a no brainier really. The articles are not going to be very reliable because the insurance company would have only posted the very best reviews that favour them on the website. The chances are, the reviews would have also been doctored and tampered with.

So, feel free to read the reviews, but ensure you find an outside source in which you can compare reviews to. 

Paid or Sponsored Company Reviews..

Be careful here. Once again, take them with a pinch of salt. The chances are, when you read a perfect review, it is bias and has been bought by the company the review is on.

Sometimes harder to spot are comments on blogs or forums which have been bought by companies. They can be spotted as fakes is they are: Perfect, generated and placed with perfect spelling and grammar.

OK, now that you know the cautions, you’re ready to start seeking actual feedback. The best places to look are forums.

Try to find some trusted forums that are still active. You can also read reviews on trusted, known, anti-bias sites. Although the internet is great for reviews, it is not perfect.

Why not go down to the park and ask around with the other pet owners? You might also consider calling your local vets for impartial advice, assuming they are not sponsored by an insurance company. The pet insurance reviews are out there, you just need to find them. But, bear one thing in mind – if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!
